Three Nigerians make Forbes’ Billionaires list

Nigerian Billionaire, Aliko Dangote is still Africa’s richest man, as he currently holds the 100 spot, in Forbes Billionaire ranking, recently released last week. This year, many billionaires were recorded, more than last year.

Over 2200 individuals from 72 countries made the list, the value of the list is worth over $9.1 Trillion. Topping the list with a wide gap is Amazon’s founder, Jef Bazos, currently valued at $112B; while Bill Gates stays on the number two list, valuing $90B, after a long reign on the number one spot.

Nigerian businessmen and woman, otherwise known as Nigerian Billionaires, who made the list include, Aliko Dangote, Mike Adenuga, and Folorunsho Alakija. Mike Adenuga is currently at number 365 on the list. He is valued at $5.3B. While Mrs Alakija is pegged at number 1561, with a value of over $1.5B.
