Africa’s number one music export, Wizkid, has shut down the world’s number one busiest music arena, O2 Arena again. The Starboy artist first had a shutdown show at the Arena last year 2017 when he performed alongside American Hip-hop artist, Future. This year, Wizkid headlined a concert called AfroRepublik last night in London, alongside other African acts. Barely 6days to the event, Mr. SMADE, the event consultant, and convener announced that AfroRepublik was already sold-out.
O2 Arena London attained the title of the busiest music arena in the world, beating Madison Square, of New York, with a seating capacity of 20,000. London was a place to be last night, as celebrities like Naomi Campbell and fashion icon like Stefano Gabbana showed up, as well as 20,000 lovers of Afrobeat music.
The event official DJ was Tim Westwood. Sensational music icon, Tiwa Savege, thrilled the fans, as well as Tekno and MR Eazi, who both electrify the stage and left fans asking for more. Other artists that performed include; NOT3s, NSG, YXNGBANE, Maleek Berry and many Afrobeat artists.
