Bogolo Kenewendo is Botswana’s Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry. She is arguably the youngest female in Africa to be appointed a minister. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, at the University of Botswana and a Master’s degree in International Trade from Sussex University, UK.
At age 30, Ms Bogolo is steering the wheel of an economy rich in gemstones and precious metals, with GDP (PPP) of about $41.6billion.
The Republic of Botswana is a landlocked country, located in the South African region, with an enormous looking Central Kalahari Game Reserve, home too many exquisite animals.
She certainly is an inspiration to many and a perfect example of how illustrious women can be when educated.
Mali recently followed suit, in the act of believing in the capacity of the young female, by appointing 35years old Kamissa Camara as Foreign minister.
